Window screen repair in Brandon
Brandon is far enough inland that salt air is rarely the problem. What wears window screens out here is sun, heat and age: the mesh turns brittle and tears, and the spline that holds it in the frame dries out and shrinks until the mesh sags or pulls loose. A tear in mesh that is otherwise sound can often be patched. Loose mesh goes back in with new spline, split corners are rejoined, slightly bent frames are straightened, and missing clips and tension springs are replaced. When the mesh is worn all over but the frame is still good, window rescreening puts new mesh in the frame you have. Everything we fix is on our window screen repair page, and our post on why a window screen sags explains one of the repairs we do most.
